Mayor of London brand book
Spring 2012
In the early 2010’s the Greater London Authority had found itself in a position where many of its programmes and engagment activities had a sprawling and confusing number of sub-brand identities. These used many typefaces, led with sub brand logos and used every colour available. The solution was to communicate all work for Londoners under one brand - Mayor of London - ‘Visit London’ being used for tourists and business visitors.
To help the process of updates I designed this ‘A-Z of London’ brand book with the GLA Design Team so that that anyone in City Hall could understand the brand identity assets available and consult it for just a colour spec, or a logo size. Along the way there is style advice around how to pitch communication.
